Mmmm... Burger...
For a fresh burger, you can't beat Zebb's. But I do have a sweet spot for a chain restaurant called Cheeburger, Cheeburger. They have a 20-ounce burger called the pounder (pound and a quarter, really). If you eat it all, they take your picture and put you on the wall.

There's a place in Clearfield about an hour from State College called Denny's Beer Barrel Pub. They've been on Food Network, I think. They have a twenty-pound competition burger. There are also fifteen, six, three, and two pound burgers for competition. I've been with people who tried the two pounders, and they're ENORMOUS! (But delicious, if they're anything like the regular sized burgers.) There are pictures of people up on the wall, failed and otherwise.
ALSO, if you do a competition burger, you're only allowed extra plates and paper towels, no utensils or anything. :-p
