My advice for parents:
Don't jump for every single cry the baby makes. Babies need to learn to calm themselves. We didn't respond until Alyssa cried for at least 30sec to 1 min and now she sleeps all night long.
Make discipline a priority and don't back down. If you threaten a punishment and then don't follow through, then your child learns that there aren't consequences to their actions.
